We would like to remind patient and visitors to the building:
COVID SYMPTOMS? Patients with symptoms suggestive of COVID(as below) should get a test and stay at home. Visit www.gov.uk or telephone 119 to arrange a test.
- High Temperature (over 37.8)
- New, continuous cough
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
Please follow the latest government advice- no one in your household should leave home if any one person has symptoms. Find out how to get a test and how long to isolate visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus or www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
Unfortunately our red hub in the surgery has been withdrawn and therefore we are unable to see patients face to face with any of the above Covid symptoms. This is in order that we can keep our patients and surgery staff safe. We are of course here to assess you on the phone and to make a decision about the best course of action for you whilst you are unwell, this may mean you being directed to another care provider.
We would like to reassure that Castlegate & Derwent Surgery is safe to attend for all patients and pharmacy customers who are free of Covid symptoms. Do not attend the premises if you have symptoms or have been informed to isolate due to a positive contact.
We operate a no mask no see policy and all people attending the premises are required to have their temperature checked upon arrival.
Your cooperation is key to the smooth running and safety of fellow patients and staff.
