GPs prescribing Mounjaro
Important patient update - weight loss medications.
GPs in Cumbria have not yet received confirmation that they will be commissioned to prescribe these medications.
Your GP is awaiting official guidance & commissioning updates. Until we receive confirmation, we cannot guarantee that the service will be available from 23 June.
What you need to know
- We will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available.
- If we are going to be commissioned to provide this service, we will offer suitable appointments to our patients
- If we are not going to be commissioned, we will advise you on what arrangements are being put in place for the local population.
