Patient Survey

In October we produced a patient survey all about our Prescription Service, to allow us to better understand how our patients felt about the service we provide, what works good and not so good. It was a really good exercise and has provided us with lots of food for thought. We would like to thank all patients who took part in the online survey and in surgery. We were joined by our patient group members and our reception team to speak with patients about the prescribing service in surgery. Over the upcoming months we will be using the findings to help shape the service going forward. These are some of the key points that were identified and we will keep sharing these with you as we work through the responses and what improvements we are going to make as a result:

• 314 Patents took our survey.
• 79% of patients found it easy to order their prescription.
• 89% of patients used an online app or telephone service to order their prescription.
• 58% Would you like to receive further information about annual reviews or further tests when speaking to a member of our team or printed into your paper prescription.
