Pre-diabetes evening
The Diabetes Nurses held a very successful group session for people who have been identified at risk of developing diabetes from their blood test.

The Diabetes Nurses, Judith, Karen and Lynn presented lots of information about what the blood test means and how to reduce the risk of developing diabetes.
They explained how the body works in relation to blood sugar control, and how the risk factors can be managed to prevent someone developing diabetes. The group were so motivated by the evening that they all requested to meet up again in 3 months to discuss their progress and pass on any hints and tips that helped them.
Due to the success of the evening we will look to repeat the event.
