Remembering those affected by the pandemic
We were proud to hold a ceremony at our surgery remembering those affected by the pandemic.
The rain held off as many patients, staff and guests joined us to plant a memorial tree. Our Dr Andy Rudman said a few words on behalf of the surgery followed by David Beeby, High Sheriff of Cumbria who officiated a brief ceremony. We then held a one minute silence remembering those loved ones lost during the pandemic.

We were joined by local blacksmith Alan Dawson, who created the beautiful ironmongery frame for our cherry blossom memorial tree. We were also joined by members of the Cockermouth league of friends. Please pop along to see our memorial tree that is situated just outside our main entrance and we can all look forward to enjoying it’s beauty for many years to come whilst remembering our loved ones.
