Please return unwanted medicines to us at Castlegate Dispensary, where we can safely dispose of them.
Disposing of medicines safely protects our customers, staff and the environment.

- Ointments
- Inhalers
- Needles or sharps, but only if they are in their correct containers

Recycle Unwanted / Used Inhalers
Inhalers commonly use powerful greenhouse gases which can cause environmental damage.
It is therefore important that used cannisters are disposed of safely.

Return unwanted/used inhalers to Castlegate Dispensary
We will safely dispose of your inhalers with other medicine waste.
Through our recycling scheme, the greenhouse gases that remain inside are destroyed, ensuring they don’t do harm to the environment.
Don't:
Send unwanted/used inhalers to landfill.
Landfill disposal of inhalers is harmful to the environment.
Residual greenhouses gases within the canisters can be released in to the atmosphere causing harm to the environment.
