Changes to How we Communicate with You!
We’re making some changes to how we communicate with our patients.
We will increasingly be sending messages through the NHS App and email, rather than relying as much on text messages (SMS).
Why are we making this change?
Using the NHS App and email allows us to communicate with patients securely and efficiently, while helping us manage practice resources and reduce the costs associated with sending text messages.
Check your NHS App notifications!
To make sure you don’t miss important messages from us:
- Open the NHS App and log in.
- Select Profile, then App settings.
- Select Notifications and follow the instructions to switch them on in your phone’s settings.
Please also make sure we have your current email address so you can receive email communications from the practice.
Don't have the NHS app?
If you have a compatible smartphone, you can download the NHS App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Find out more and download the app
If you don’t have the app, don’t have a smartphone, or need help accessing it, please contact the practice team for advice.
Please be reassured:
We will continue to telephone or text patients when appropriate. We understand that not everyone can access the NHS App, and we will continue to communicate with patients using suitable methods.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we make these changes to improve how we communicate with you.
