Did Not Attend - DNA appointments
Thank you to the Times & Star for the recent feature on the impact that ‘Did Not Attend- DNA appointments’ have on our service.
Highlighting the importance of cancelling is the key to saving those missed appointments, freeing them up for the many patients waiting to be seen by one of our clinicians.
We understand things crop up and unexpected events can cause you to miss an appointment but our diaries are full and every single appointment is in extremely high demand.
Please be considerate to other patients, if you cannot attend please let us know
- call us on 01900 705750 selecting the ‘cancellation line’
- if you use the NHS, myGP or Patient Access app you can cancel on there.
- submit us an online triage form
The figures featured in the news article were 79 DNA appointments for Week Commencing 21st October 2024
Last week we still had 74 DNA appointments for Week Commencing 28th October 2024
Let’s raise awareness and hopefully we can all assist in getting the number down, freeing up some more appointments.
Trust us, we really do not like saying no to you! We simply have no appointments there to book, help us save these lost appointments!
